There's a gold and a diamond end.
For gold end:

put the melted candy on the tree in the first scene

For diamond end:

put the melted candy on the palmtree

put the melted candy on the palmtree

I gave it to the blue insect on the last page - will try it your way now

2nd edit: silly me, I did give it to the palm tree - gave the 2nd blue insect to the one on the last page...
