are the items collected supposed to just be laying at the bottom left of the screen? how do I know if I'm clicking in the right spot to use the item?

The collected items are supposed to be at the bottom of the screen, from the left to the right
Unfortunately cursor change is not supported, but there is no pixel hunting in this game, I've made big hotspots. To know where to use items, use your logic
