My Deutsch is pretty rusty, but the second question is something like "What leans sideways on the attic hatch?"

I though maybe the carpet but that does not seem to be working for me.

After you solve the clock puzzle you get a key. Open the chest. You get a note that you can solve it by an iron jewellery. Take the chain from above and use it on the trapdoor that is revealed when you click several times on the carpet.

I still can't figure out the danged spoilers but look at an on-line german to english dictionary and get the word for ladder.

The third question asks about what animal looks after a key. Again, you need to find the german word for the answer.
