@Bird...There was a clue on a wall that should have given you the combination.

For shapes:

Create house looking shape, then shape with round bottom and three little spikes on the top, and then the last shape is rounded top with a pointed bottom.

thanks escape girl!! got the treasure. noticed when I equipped the logs it said"eqiupped the metal glove and "equipped the goggles". don't remember having those!

Power went out for about 5 minutes - and 10 minutes later thunder storm arrived. So much for computer time. So dinner is over including ice cream w/ chocolate topping. And I'm almost back to where I was ..
And now i've found the treasure and out.

I had the same problem

Retrace your steps, use the map if you have to and make sure that you have gone in every room.

Go back to the room where the mine cart WAS

Nice game. I would have looked for help to find the diamond but as no one had given any, I made it out on my own. Yay!
