Map Symbols is another Japanese point and click type room escape game by Escape JP. This is a simple escape game. You have to escape from the room. Good luck.

Wow, I'm not thinking it's a "simple" escape! So far I have

3 notes (one of which fits into an equation in a drawer under the couch, a measuring stick (=200 m according to a book) and a car. I've played with a robot's arms & head, but stuck at this point

EDIT: Played with a bird and saw

the word 'oil', the word 'soy' and not sure what you call it type of symbol--a square of squiggly lines, a blue 28, and a red 12

opening number locker

to open the number lock you have to find the coloured numbers.
the colors of the numbers correspond with the music notes from 1 of the books.

i found 2 of the numbers

the red number is behind the middle pillow of the couch and the blue number is on the painting.

for those who didn't get the music note hint

the trick is to divide the number bye the value of the note. (a 8th note means divide by 8)

a way to use the seal remover on that label on the picture

EDIT: Using that, I got

the shield with a + in it for A, a windmill looking thing for B, but can't brute force C---even with the 300m clue--and I tried 'em all!

the paper strips are guides to where the correct symbol is.
The + tells you the direction (example upper symbol is hearts then hearts 200 means up 200). In the book you found the pieces of paper there is an illustration of a stick with a distance. use the stick as a ruler to measure the distance.

I figured that part it, but just don't know where I'm supposed to be measuring for "C".... OOOPS! Read "A" wrong...

locations to use paper strips:
A:

left drawer beneath the couch

on the inside of the numberlock door

left side of the table

the use of this:

you get the completse starting symbol and both directions and distances

Cell Phone

Got the door open, grew the berries, fed the bird, got key from robot, got cell phone from drawer, accessed web page on phone...

Now stuck on phone with "oai" on the screen... Can anyone help.

found three words: soy, mab, oil. take the oai out and you get symbol. symbol does not work on the cell phone

there are 2 symbol things for the cell phone
there locations are:

on the lamp post pole and on the bottom of the garbagebin

to use:

symbol is correct it unlock the second function when u use it at the correct spot

on my cell phone! Where'd you find the oai? Also can't input anything on the cell phone.

on the post of the lamp. and I KNEW that trashcan had to do something! It wouldn't give me that view before!!

FINALLY out! This was a good game!! I missed a couple views (although I am pretty sure I clicked there frantically before), otherwise nice game!
