Thank you NannaJoy. Got two things and stuck again. Oh and another piece of paper. What are we supposed to do with the papers after we get all of them anyway?

examine them to determine the letter order (this is done by looking at the torn edges). Use the 6 letters on the mechanism along with the switch. Dial first letter, hit switch. Dial second letter, hit switch....till done

well - silly me - I have them all evidently .. let me give it a go.
YES - done with that level and can get the pacing dog out LOL

That's odd.

The mouse is supposed to be gone but the paper should be lying on floor. The top drawer should be shut and the bottom drawer left open upstairs. The other two pieces were in tall cabinet and behind bed. There are only 3 papers total

Did what you said about hitting the switch after hitting every letter. The letters are

UH YA RA

am I correct?
Because nothing happened after I did all that.

when you are putting the letters in the wheel puzzle check to see if the message 'nothing happens' appears. If it does before you are finished then immediately start over with the first letter
