I've put all of the ingredients from the hearth into the pot on the table and added water 14:55 that's all I can do...can't get the egg in the pot

Stuck ! Walkthrough please or some more hints - what to do with switching of & on the light?

first game that i have been seriously stuck with, got the dwarf out after growing it, made the potion, changed the bottles on either side and that is about it, any help please?

a few hints

i spent ages clicking around, and i mean ages! the basic idea is to free the yellow dwarf but even the creator admits it's very difficult to solve and has many endings, anyway i managed to get the dwarf out eventually, though don't think i got the perfect ending, but there's no way i can remember the exact order of things so here's some random tips:
-IMPORTANT-
the clock only ticks when it's on the wall, and because the time-intervals are different throughout the day, you can put it back on the shelf to stop and back on the hook to start it to get the time you're after AND if you get the clock to say certain times you get a prize - a key, or an egg or a strange ball (that only seems to be a link to the hints page) (you can see these things on the clock face-e.g.the key is at 12) there's also what looks like a striped candy stick but i never managed to get it
-first put the egg on the ring on the table and open the curtains
-after it's hatched try clicking on the shelf in the fireplace then the rope,btw the little creature can hold things too! experiment
-make sure you try clicking on the rope again at various times, the creature can help you before she runs off
-if you lower the pendulum to the cage it will lift it off the ground

th best i got was to get the dwarf where the wierd red creature is on the left, but although i think i got all 7 ingredients in the pan i didn't use it for anything after that and i'm guessing you have to poison the big troll when the it returns

found out: if you take everything out of the fireplace at 6:15 and put the nest and egg on the table, the room will flood and the dwarf will leave through the chimney

stuck!

I'm so stuck! is anyone playing now? I can hatch the little creature and get it to take the rope out the chimney at tie it round the tree outside, but then it is no longer on the table to change over the water bottles. It can alos take the mirror with it.. i dont know why.

And i cant get it to hatch, and put all the ingredients in the pot! anyone got any suggestions?
