great, i'm answering myself. i found the red coil...in the sewers. somehow i knew i had to go back there....

well, persistance paid off, finally did it but not sure what it did (unless it enabled me to get the switch handle???)

Luverly, right!

I highly recommend using the top top right buttom (controling the top right and bottom left switches) and the bottom bottom left button (controlling the top left and bottom right switches) as I found this to be the fastest from the off. Other than that I really can't help you here. When completed, return to your new ladder and head on up.

Very sorry about the last little comment there, it is a very well thought out game, just a real toughie! Hope the walkthrough helps ya'll!

Doozy of a puzzle is right with the darn 'needle' switches! OMG! I've got everything complete except this...have the fuse installed and the ID card and the correct solution for e=....but this is a kicker. I sure hope it doesn't take me 3 hours to solve the switches.

*if anyone else would like to say how to hit the buttons in the right sequence it would be much appreciated

From the start (the portal on the right is red) go left, down, right, and grab a small grey 2ND FLOOR key on the right. Return to the start and then head leftx3, downx3, right, up.


hhhmmm...what start are you talking about?? The first screen with the ladder?? I can go up and then left...but not down!!! anyone help me??

when you unlock the sewers and enter them for the first time, that section of pipe there (with the right hold where you entered as red) is what I used as the start
