Wow, not easy because you can sell and buy items, and I have no idea what I really need

Found coins, and items, sold and bought some...
Unlocked two doors with keys, found a guy who knows how to get out of the hospital but is afraid to go. Nobody has had anti-anxiety pills to sell yet
Still no idea which items I need and which not.

Got 2 keys, but can't open triangle shaped lock.
