How do you break sticks/log in front of door to get to the "other world" ?

I have only completed 2 of the gear puzzles... haven't seen a 3rd. Guessing that machine (from Submachine game) is related.

No need to break them, just

go in other room and click on picture on the wall. This is also where you'll find the 3rd gear puzzle

There are 2 doors blocked by sticks/log though.

Guess I still need 2 gears.

Lol This is why I said that I THINK I've seen all locations, because I can never be sure.
Have you seen all locations from top-down view, there are quite a lot screens accessible from there.

Yeah, I mean that, you can go to several locations from that top view, not only to the Ra Temple.

There are 3 similar "doors"/arches behind the two kids. To the left and to the right, there is is a column each with water sign on it. I've put my seashell there to the left
