ok I still stuck at the island. I turn on the lattern with the blue flame the red man is standing looking the mast and I picked up the spider again...where do I put it???There is nowhere to click help please

Did you try tab key? I can't remember exact details in this game but when I was stuck I tried tab key.

Walkthrough

Here's a walkthrough if anyone wants one. Steps are nested in case you only want a push to get past your current point.

Beginning

Click on green dangle below lantern.

Click on green words. Newspaper appears.

Click pic of spinning planetoid. It will stop spinning.

Click the brightest stars to reveal red #s on paper. 6 in all.

Click center of image that is burned into paper and then click the numbers in the order they appear in red on the paper. Paper will rip and a spider will appear with match from the tear.

Drag match to flame near pic. Match will burn up.

Click on white spot in upper left corner of paper, then click on star above it. Paper will fall away, and spider will hang from star.

Click on star to pick up spider and move it over from star to star to form web. 5 stars total.

Click on spider to make it return to web.

Click center of web. Blue star will settle in center of web and a raft with a red guy will crash into web.

Click spider. Red guy gets up and spider moves off web.

Take blue star from web center and light lantern on raft.

Click star spider is hanging from and hang spider from wheel on raft. Will make wheel horzontal and lift raft.

Click button half-way up mast and raft will move off web to planetoid.

On Planetoid

Click button half-way up mast to settle on surface. Click again and red guy will disembark.

Click on patch of grass that appears to the left and below well. Red guy will go over and sit down.

Click lantern on table to illuminate area. Red guy will go over to look at hill.

Click wheel from raft and drag to post on hill.

Click button on mast to start waterfall, then click to shut it off after planet floods.

Click crevice below well twice to reveal cave entrance below.

Click on platform to make guy go down.

Click entrance to make him enter cave.

In Cave

When fly lands, click on it and give it to the spiders. Red guy can then proceed.

Pick up pole below red guy to pick up post/branch (use tab to find the right spot, it's too dark).

Use post/branch to press panel just below tunnel on right side. Water will drain away and red guy will crawl to tunnel.

Click lever by his head and water and submarine will rise.

Click hatch and red guy will enter; sub will then go down.

Next scene shows a tunnel to right, click back of sub (left side) to make it go into this side tunnel.

Wait for sub to settle, then click just to left of it and it will spring back up to try again.

Click both arrows below sub to make them point right. Gate will open and let sub by the 4 arrows.

Click arrows in both columns to point away from one another. Door will open and "sun" is shown.

Drag sun to thought bubble and place above and left of planetoid.

Click both arrows in right tunnel to point left. Gate will open.

Click spider so it will move and red guy can proceed.

Click arrows to point right and shut gate, then click top of rope so red guy climbs out through well.

Back on surface. Red guy sits down and yellow bird flys by pond. Yay!!!

How do you make the spider make it's web? I have tried and can't seem to get it to make anything. What is the trick?

Click the spider and move it from star to star (bright stars). I had to use tab key first to find the first 2 places.

i am at the raft and the spider is my pointer where do i put him?

I got it!

I can't click on the wheel on the ship, though, I even restarted, and it didn't work!

I figured it out: you have to move the red man, so he's sitting down on the ground on the left side first

done! there were nice graphics, but i thought it was just too difficult. not a very good game.
