That's the gem I don't have, so I am supposing that's the key I need. But I also think there was a door somewhere else that was locked...

There's one downstairs, left and down, that's locked. Since it's at the bottom of the map I'm guessing that's the exit door.

Wondering about the

"I think there is a hole in the floor..." clue in the room with the clue for the peg chest.

Oh I forgot all about the locked cabinet in the leftmost room. I think I deleted the clue for that, too.

Did the server just reset? Because I froze up for a bit (fifteen minutes). I just found a key , but i do not know what it is for. I have not found the map, so I am a bit blind.

can be found from the courtyard, I think, go RIGHT twice. You will find it on the floor.

LOL. Poor you. I had a heck of a time navigating this game. I got lost too much. Plus, the screen doesn't QUITE fit my screen, so I had to scroll a little to see stuff. Plus, I didn't realize I could close the ITEMS menu right away, so I was missing all my right turns [to Albuquerque. ].
