can't seem to move left from alley ...
restarted - used two things and placed. Used another thing twice and still have. picked up an item in 3rd area/alley. Now need to take the dog out real quick and think about my next move.
Back and my guy won't move nor can I change setting from inside to outside. So much for this one. Evidently a glitch when playing in IE.

Finally got it.. lots of back and forth!

The game seems to be buggy. When you get into the dark spot (illuminated with the lamp from the room) and pick up a termite without having collected a mug earlier, then you're stuck. You can't even move back, although the left arrow seems to be active.
