The order of the scarabs is the symbols above the door.
What I'd like to know is a the very end, it says, please close the door behind you. Has anyone done that?

Paralux, here's how to close the door:

Whenever the ax swings off the screen to the left, click the far left scarab. Whenever it is off the screen to the right, click the far right scarab. You should be able to hear a clicking noise after the regular "scarab" sound. Keep doing this back and forth a few times until the door closes. Nothing special happens, but hey, you really finished the game then, right?

helpppppppppppppppp meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee iv gotten the axe to the bottom but i cant get the door open. i keep hearing press the beetles in the order that is above the door but i av two rows on colours helppppppppppppppp. i hate this game lol.

Roggor, hope this helps:

It is only the top row of bricks that you need to be looking at, the ones that create symbols. You don't have to worry about there being more than one symbol on each block, you just hit each scarab color as it goes along the 'code' above the door once per ax swing. I hit the scarab buttons each time the ax appeared on either side, when it was in between being offscreen and the door.

I am stuck in the axe level.I have tried clicking on the scarabs in the order on the wall from green to purple one per axe swing but nothing has happened.I have done this clicking nearly 15 to 20 times from green to purple but of no use.Plz try to answer my questions.
1.Is there any number of times that I have to click from green to purple
scarab. If so how many?

2. Is there anything to do with the bang on the door in this level?

3.Should I start clicking on the scarabs when the axe starts swinging or allow it to come to bottom and then start clicking?

Any help plzzzzzzzzzzz.

So far none of you have replied to my message.Have all of you quitted this game? If anyone is out there plzzzzzzzz reply me.

Axe

Ok so I am still trying to open the door......is it that we are supposed to click on the beetles according to the hiroglyphs on the top.? So that the first beetle I should push is the green one because the first hiroglyph is painted that color, and should I wait until the axe is alomst on the left side of the screen because the hiroglyph (which is a hand) is pointing to that direction? or should I click on the green beetle when the axe is swinging left?

WalkThrough

Here's the walkthru for the game if anyone needs it.

1. Click on the blue scarab(beetle) continously until you get the first stone inside the cup of the right pedestal.The first stone is hidden behind the purple scarab.

2. Click the ? symbol to go to the help page.Drag the stone in the middle of the circle above the scarab image to the top right corner hole.This will automatically take you to the first page.

3. Wait for a few seconds until the second stone jumps in.Click on the red scarab until the stone is in line with the cup of the left pedestal.Click on the blue scarab continously so that the second stone jumps into the cup of the left pedestal.

4.Now click on the red scarab to bring the black stone on the left pedestal to the rightmost corner close to the door.Similarly click on the purple scarab to bring the black stone on the right pedestal to the leftmost corner close to the door.

5.Wait for the mummy to bang the door continuosly.When it bangs continuosly click on the blue scarab continuosly so that both the pedestals will fall down and you will get the swinging axe and some symbols on the wall with the colors in the following order
1) Green 2) Blue 3) Blue 4) Red 5) Red
6) Yellow 7) Blue 8) Red 9) Yellow 10) Purple

6.Allow the axe to come to the bottom.Now click from the green scarab to the yellow scarab(first scarab to ninth scarab) when you have the axe at the corner of the screen(ie when it is between offscreen and door) one click per swing.Now wait patiently for the mummy to say the words
"When the death wind howls strike the final blow twice"
After this you will hear a howl sound.At that time when the axe is on the corner(between offscreen and door) click on the tenth ie the purple scarab twice.This will open the door and the mummy will get out.

7.It will then say you to close the door behind you.For this when the axe is offscreen on the left side click on the red scarab and when it is offscreen on the right side click on the purple scarab.Repeat this for 5 times ie 5 times on red scarab and 5 times on purple scarab.This will close the door.

this game really caught me by surprise, wasn't expecting to jump out of my chair. cute game, not too challenging despite the warnings at the beginning.

Okay this was the hardest game i have ever had to play it took me two weeks to figure it out! I have a walkthrough

1. Click on the blue beetle/scarab (im gonna call it a beetle) until the stone goes into the cup.
2.This is where i got stuck. Click on the question mark at the bottom left hand corner. THE RIDDLE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH ANYTHING. You should see a stone twords the bottom, click on it and drag it into the top left hand cornor (were the empty space is).
3.Go back to the game and click the red beetle until it is lined up with the second cup thing. Then press blue untill it goes into the cup.
4.Now press the red beetle until the little black stone in the pedestool (the thing that the cup is connected to) is at the end closest to the door. The press the pink/purple (im gonna call it purple) beetle until the stone in the other petestool gets to the side closest to the door.
5.When you start to here banging again keep on hitting the blue beetle until the pedestools fall down. Now an axe will come down.
6.BE PATAINT!!! You must wait untill the axe is going right above the beetles before you start the next step.
7.At the top of the screen you will see colors (Green blue blue red red yellow blue red yellow purple (it dosn't matter if there are two colors in one block.))
8.Now the door will open BOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't think your done yet. It says to close the door!!!!!
9.Now, you could just exit, but if you want to beat the game you must click the Red beetle when you cant see the axe on the right side, the the purple beetle when you cant see the axe on the right side. Keep on doing this for about 5 or 6 times untill the door closes. GOOD JOB YOU BEAT THE GAME

it took me 1 day to figure it out. hardest game i ever played. it took me 'ONE DAY! it never takes me that long on 1 single game even without help.
