The phone will work at the end of game only. You'll have to give the glass of water to the old man. The statue is outside near the double door just at left above the bush (look very carefully)

to get the statue in the wall, find the diary in the room with the computer, its on the book shelf, then go the the bathroom in the orange room upstairs, magnify the diary click on the diary till you reach the last page then write it down, click on the mirror and the keyrad will appear, then enter the code and the hole for the statue will appear..... then put it in....
