"spear" the balloon

i have almost done everything and i just need to spear the balloon. but when i have the pen spear in the top left hand box to use and i click that balloon, the hamster just keeps saying "i dont understand". how do i spear the balloon? I dont understand either...

At the beginning, the hamster say: I should first leave here, he say that when I click on Anything, what am I supossed to do?

first get the paperclip and open the lock from the hamster, then get the pen, then get the vork, uuh that thing what you use to eat.
then the paper with plakband, then the linial, then the baloon, and then open the drawer with the vork, and find out !!

Complete Walkthrough

The object of the game is to get the sweets on the shelf across from the cage. The scene is fixed, so the hamster doesn't move away from the table it's cage is on.

Clicking the hamster is your inventory. To combine in the inventory, click and drag.

1) Get the paperclip and then open the door.
2) Get the pen, and in the inventory click on the pen and it will break into 3 pieces.
3) Get the ruler.
4) Get the paper to the left of the cage and then click on the Selotape (Tape machine).
5) Use the paper on the bottom left corner of the noticeboard.
6) Get the round magnet.
5) Get the fork and use it on the right drawer handle below.
6) Now use the bent fork to get the rubber bands on the left drawer handle.
7) Get the balloon hanging from the side of the table on a string.
8) Click the balloon in the inventory and it will break up into string and balloon.
9) Combine the rubber bands with the pen top (one with the clip). You now have a slingshot.
10) Combine the pen body with the balloon.
11) Combine the magnet with the string.
12) Select the ruler and click on the hook on the far bookcase.
13) Get the string hanging from the hook.
14) Use the slingshot on the lid of the sweet jar.
15) Use the magnet-on-a-string in the right drawer below to get the hook.
16) Combine the hook with the string.
17) Use the hook with glove in the bin.
18) Use the glove device on the hamster wheel in the cage.
19) Click on the hamster wheel to send the glove over to the bookcase.
20) Use the balloon to wedge the bookcase away from the table. Click on the bookcase shelf opposite the table to do this.
21) Use the 'spear'(final pen piece) to spear the baloon.
22) Now click on the hamster wheel again to get the sweets!

Look through the pages.
When i did last time(a few months ago lol) it had a complete walk through in it.
If you need it then use it. Also if you flick around the pages you may find some hints and tips instead of a full walkthrough so you dont have to see everything so it doesnt spoil your game.
