how do you get the video to play

play the video by pressing 'play video' at the bottom of the tv screen

it was good game - but quite scary!- it made me jump.

if you really are stuck then here are some hints
1. if you're really scared at the beggining type in skipintro in the diary
2. scary parts.
a. in the beggining of the game
b. in the mirror after you wipe it
c after you get the key and put the low roll on the stand a hand print whacks off the shower door opening it
d watching the video the man creeps up from behind (hit space bar very fast)

3. walk through .
at the start a knock comes on the door either go down stairs or type in skip intro in the diary. so now your back in your bedroom open the drawer and get the torch and the rubber gloves out. then get the vcr tape on the desk done go to the bathroom wich is on the bottom of the screen when you leave the room, get the red towel and wipe the mirror to see a man.
turn back around to find the master bedroom key then turn around again to the toilet and use the rubber gloves on the clogged up toilet so you get the golden key, after that open the shower door and click the hair then scream and press the space bar quickly... after that it's up to you where to put the shower faucet

So far, so good... "Highlights" here...After the man in the shower appears and you've hit the "panic button" (space key) on cue, the shower door will close. Open the shower door again to get the shower knob. The shower knob replaces the broken VCR cabinet knob. Play the VCR tape, timing on hitting the panic buton key very important here. If you do it right, the scary man will disappear and you will be able to click under the bed for a key. The key fits the master dresser. You will find matches in the drawer. You can then use the candle to go into the darkness and "complete" the game... (You got the candle when you used the golden key on the chest in the first bedroom.)

yet im 9 but iv done it its scarey when showers open and see face plus in curtain and down stairs i was hitting space bar everytime i saw him ill have nightmares

How Do I Open The Shower Dooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooor

Go to the toilet bowl. Then put the roll of tissue in the tube. A hand will appear. Go back. Then open the shower. This scene made me VERY VERY VERY VERY SC-C-CARED!

When the game was ending i thought something was going to jump out so i turned my volume down all the way!!

walkthrough:

type skipintro into diary or answer front door. open drawer take flaslight and rubber gloves. go to bathroom take towel and wipe mirror you will scream and turn around, turn back there will be the key to the master bedroom where the soap was. now turn to the toilet take the roll of toilet paper and replace it, and a hand will hit the shower wall. turn to the shower, the door is now unstuck. click the clot of hair and a ghost will appear press space quickly or you will die. once the ghost dissapears the door will shut now open it again, the hair is gone and the faucet has fallen out, take the faucet. now turn back to the toilet and use the rubber gloves on it, you will now get the key to the trunk o' stuff in your
room. go back to your room and open the trunk, you find an unlit candle inside. now you go to the master bedroom, using the key to open the door. once inside use the shower faucet on the vcr cabinet and it will open, turn on the t.v. and put the tape in the vcr, and click the t.v. screen, and you will see a video of what is currently happening. there is a shiny dot under the bed
(nothing jumps out at you it i just a key)click it and the girl will point at the screen, then the ghost appears and you must press space rapidly and it will disappear and the tape is over click under the bed and you will get a drawer key, use it on the nightstand drawer and you will get matches. leave the room and go to the halway, use the matches on the candle and then use the lit candle on the darkness. You beat the game!(i will leave the ending a secret since i revealed everything else)
