beat it without help! I was so happy about beating it I had to register, now I'm gonna figure out how to do spoilers so I can help yall out. I can't believe it ...

Ok, now I've gotten into all the places but I can't find a red key, or a key for the car. Any hints?

Walkthrough thus far:

First island

You start at the plane. Grab the rope from the ground and go left, down, down, left. Click the brown box and then the red button to get a clue on the password: "The code is simple, what kind of lights are in the cave?"
Head right, up, up, up, up. Grab the map from the bridge. Head up twice. Inside the cave, click on one of the lights to get this message: "This is a 'mercury' light, they make this cave look so nice." With this knowledge, head back to the brown box and enter your password:

and take the gold key. Head up twice and take the raft. Trying to go right twice from the brown box will take you to a log bridge, but you lack the strength to cross it at the moment. So, instead, return to the cave.
Inside the cave, head left, up, up, and up again to get to the next island

Second island

You start in the water off the shore of the island with a house in front of you. Head up, up, up. First of all, note that there's a boat up ahead, "It has a name on it. It is hard to make out. It starts with an S" Read the note on the table about things to do, making note of the numbered items at the bottom of the list. Head right. Inside the house, click on the TV to get the message, "Got Fruit?". Head down. Note the bowl of fruit on the table.

Moving the bowl will reveal the message "Sea Breeze"

Head left. In the kitchen, head right. You will be prompted for a password. Click the red button to get this clue: "Room#269 Is my room!" These numbers should look familiar. They appeared on the note that was outside on the table. The password will be hidden on the note.

Ignore the note and read just the first column of characters. It should read caleb269. Drop the numbers and you have your password: Caleb

From the kitchen, head up into the hallway, then left into the den. A piece of statue can be found in the room. Check the small square table.
Trying to go left will prompt you for another password. The hint reads, "Our boats name." We know that the name starts with an S, and a hidden message found earlier starts with an S as well.

Sea Breeze

Input the password and head left. Another piece of statue can be found in the pond, but you don't have an item necessary to retrieve it just yet. Head up to find a car. You don't have the keys yet, so you cannot use it. Head back to the hallway. Right from the hallway is the master bedroom. A pedistal sits on the floor, but you presently lack what needs to go there. Head right into the bathroom. On the counter are some pills which should boost your energy. That being the case, its time to head back to the first island, so backtrack to that log you couldn't cross earlier.
Crossing the log will reveal a shack. Head up inside. On a shelf in front of you should be a magnet. Take the magnet, then head left. There are two things of interest here: the electrical tape on a cot, and the red key hole on the stove. You can take the tape now, but you still lack the red key. Head back to the house on the second island and make your way back to the pond.
At the pond, the magnet allows you to take the second statue part. Now, head back to the kitchen. Once there, head left into the guest room. Looking at the pictures.

One of the pictures should move, revealing a power box for the jacuzzi. Using the electrical tape should restore power to the jacuzzi.

Now, head to Caleb's room (the password protected room right from the kitchen). Inside Caleb's room, head up and click on the statue to activate the jacuzzi. A red key should appear. Take the key and backtrack to the shack on the first island. Opening the oven inside the shack should reveal a third piece of the statue. Backtrack once again to the master bedroom. Placing the statue on the pedestal will reveal the car key. Backtrack to the car and use the key to escape.

I figured out spoilers ... HURRAH!

If you have the electrical tape you can fix the circuit behind the picture in one of the bedrooms which lets you turn on the jacuzzi which has the red key which opens the stove/safe in the hut which gives you the final statue piece. Put the statue in the bedroom and you get the car keys

Yay I got off the island.

I'm just curious as to how I did it with just a car....

I like the other interface better. It was very hard at times to get the right direction.
