I'm out! In order to get the key you have to place the blue egg somewhere and it gives you the key. Good luck........must go and make dinner.

Okay. I think this is what you need.

From main room go to left. Click the symbols on the wall in this order-bottom left, top left, top right, bottom right. A stone will fall. View the stone in your inventory and click on it. A key shape space should appear. Put your gold key in the shape and then put the stone in the fire. This will reshape the key and make it usable at the gate.

i cant put brick in fire

It may have worked. Try taking the key out and using it on the gate. You don't actually see the brick go in the fire. Just make sure the key is in it and then 'use with' the fire.

You'll never use the battery. wander around and try some stuff. You'll eventually get a green egg and a blue egg. There will be a safe. You''l need to find a jar and fill it with fireflies. get busy.
