If it's the bell where you click on it and the block floats up, then the machine needs a certain mixture poured on it to open the gate. If you're on about the machine where you enter in numbers, then you need to get a printout from the computer first...

into the machine. At the moment, there's probably nothing you can do in the red walled room. Have you got the list of co-ordinates?

Are you on about the actual basement, or the lighthouse dugout? I don't know where you are...

that's the problem Hoju Istop the turbine but I can't find whay I 've to do int the other red wall room(462)!! Little hint's welcome!

There is a note in the Basement that mentions room 551 (Red Brick Room 2). Go there and press the button to stop the flow of the 'pipe'. Now go to the Lighthouse Dig out and notice that this is also red brick. If you go to the right, you will find the other end of the pipe that you stopped. Use the hammer to break the lock (like instructions had you do on the roof). Get the Turbine (fan) and use it on the highest floor of the ship. Go down one level and press the button to open the gate and find the chest.

iv looked i cant find

theres a big pipe on celing, a fuse wire and a box with a lever type thing [in the ship room] how do i get ladder i been lookin at posts but i cant find
