Okay, I got it!! And this is what I needed someone to tell me:

To get the key:

After you've done everything posted above and just before you bash your head against a wall (I'm still bleeding), IT'S ALL ABOUT THE ANGLE!!!

Go all the way to the front of the bus and turn around so you can see all the seats. Click in the seat of the first chair on the left. The key should be no problem now!

Turn around and use the key to start the bus!

I'm still looking for the third part to the gun.
I've found

the barrel at the back of the bus on a seat to the left (facing the back of the bus) and the clip to the right of the middle door.

Where's the other part? I know someone said on a seat on the driver's side, but I'm not seeing it.
