The drawing in the puzzle box gives you the first position. I don't remember what the others were, I just used brute force until the book appeared and opened.

I'm with HANFGARN, I can't get the stupid owl puzzle either, I can never do these. Is there a secret to getting them right? Or will I automatically be able to do it after I submit this post?

im in the other world and i found the power source....but i dont know where to use it

top left-arrowhead
top right-two fingers
bottem left-the O one
bottem right-bat

if it doesnt work pm me or it might be we all have different orders
there are only 24 different combinations

I believe the pencil is located in the sliding puzzle box after you finish the sliding puzzle
