i figured that out i think my problem is that i dont have the compass where is it?
i think its in the box that the cats can stand on but i cant open it

opend it found another apple.. where is the compass?
can it be somthing with the mouse hole? ahhhhh its annoying

Compass is

actually the locket. Click everywhere around the closeup view and it should appear.

I can't seem to get the grass puzzle either. I've got the

numbers, and draw them on the side indicated by the arrow in their respective color (changing half the background first). I've tried multiple ways one might draw the numbers and with the widths: 5, 4, and 3.

This is what I think looks best #=green, O=brown

##O##OO##O
#O###O#OO#
OOOO#OO##O

Can someone help me on this one?

Edit: Oh, and where's the rubber band?

Do the numbers block-style, like this:

OOOOO#####
####O#OOO#
OOOOO#####
O#####OOO#
OOOOO#####

The rubber band is on the bottom of an ashtray somewhere.

OMG I feel so stupid. I solved the grass puzzle a long time ago. I was waiting for something to happen when really all I had to do was back out.

Thank you so much nin_man! I had tried that one as well, but like Ravensd, I didnt' exit the view between all attempts.

Finished the game... good ending I suppose.
How do you get the bad ending?
