I have made the second slingshot, but I cannot hit the Uro that's chasing me. I've tried timing it so the gap is closed, but it isn't working. What am I supposed to do?

Walkthrough

Walkthrough:

As you start, just keep clicking on the different trees to get Dry Fruits, Sticky Vine, Branch and Bent Branch.
Combine the bent branch with sticky vine and combine sling with dry fruits.
Watch the cutscene.
Click on a different tree this time to get another type of vine.
Combine the bent branch with the vine.
Combine the new sling with the dry fruits and shoot.
Now you'll need a different type of fruit. Click on the new type of tree to get them.
Aim high, use full power and hit Uro.

Get a flower from lower left, an acorn from the hole in tree, and water in flower by using flower on rill.
Use water in flower on hole in tree stump.
Use flower on it, then attach sticky vine to flower.
Click on the insect on the rock left of the tree.
Click on flower to get insect.
Use insect on spider near the water's edge.
Collect mud bottom left of mud.
Use acorn on bottom hole of tree stump. Wait for squirrel to enter and use mud to cover the hole and trap it.
Use antenna on the hole in the tree to scare the bird away. When the tentacle appears, use the slingshot on it.
