Same here and played it already. The story is that the witch can't stop her vacuum and land, and Victor has to help her if he wants her out of his dreams and sleep quiet nights again.

So apparently I'm an idiot, or possibly blind, but, where's the other battery?

Can't find the second battery either. Maybe it's in the room behind the fireplace? ... How do you put out the fire? There's monsters in the well and tap doesn't exactly work.

Heres a hint for putting out the fire:

drool works as well as water

You can get it from the gargoyle you used the potion on

Yeah, it's in that room behind the fireplace. You have to use the potion first.

Collect the drool from the gargoyle.

ok i have put the wax?, eyes & half eaten fruit into cauldren dog but now im stuk i also have battery and candle

Follow the crumbs

When you have all things...

cook them to get a potion
