I'm getting how I have to combine the boiled water in the kettle with the teapot and tealeaf but HOW?!

How do I combine them?!

I've clicked from one to the other over and over again but NOTHING works!

Tealeaf into teapot. Then Boiled water into teapot, teapot into teacup bread into microwave, jam onto bread, bread onto teacup and then serve to fairy.

Soo pretty much I can't combine anything for the tea either. It's so frustrating!! I understand "put the tealeaf in the kettle," but how? I clicked on the green tea container in my inventory, then clicked on the orange kettle, but nothing happens. Am I missing a step?

Edit: I have everything I need for the tea (Empty kettle, kettle with boiled water, tealeaf, and cup), I just don't understand how you combine the items.

You should find TWO kettles. One metal one for the stove, and then a different one that you pour it into AFTER. I haven't played this game since it was posted, but I think the you will find the other teapot either in the cupboard, or under the sink.

It still isn't working. Is it a glitch or something? I just need to know HOW to combine items - are you supposed to click one item before clicking the other in the inventory?

...Click on the main item(pot) first, and click ABOUT ITEM. That will enlarge the pot's picture. THEN put the stupid things(tea leaf/water/whatever) in by clicking on their picture in the inventory then clicking on the enlarged teapot.

Thank you thank you thank you thank you!!! I didn't know you had to have the item enlarged before you could add to it. Yay I can FINALLY finish! Thaaanks
