silver, all i can tell u is its just a matter of trying different directions.... i know once you start to insert it, u have to spin it side to side with 2 white blocks still out so it gives u white straight down to the brown bottom.

silver, i went back and replayed it, wrote down each step for the dowel

once inserted, hit the direction buttons in the following order.... U,L,L,U,R,R,R,U,U,U,L,D,D,L,U,U.

before u leave the house u get the screwdriver, u have to find the clock and take it apart.... to take it apart use something in ur inventory on the "plugs" then use the screwdriver

Thank you DSPIN, it worked with a little alteration at the beginning, I couldn't make the exact same moves there that you made, but the ending was the same? Very strange?

now the question is how to get rid of the third pirate.
i have the bracelet ...isnt there something to do with the blue stones on it?

u have to press the stones in this order: 5,2,1,4,3.... then it will say increasing ur energy...

then

if u think back to the beginning, there was something u needed to be stronger to get, u can get it now

then

use it to get past the last pirate

russell and silver, since im going to be leaving my computer soon and i dont want to leave either of u stuck, here is some help for the rest in case you need it:

notice the note on the table

then:

hammer in gray pot in center bottom of screen

then:

use hammer on loose board, note position of circles and order of colors

then:

password is a 2 word anagram of note from first room in this house

if that doesnt help its

pirate ship

then:

use the gry balls on the table corners to get a key

then:

go back to bedroom and click on picture... using code from first porch, press the circles

if that doesnt work

upper right, upper left, lower right, lower left

then

use key in safe and take last amulet

then

put the three amulets in the stone, have to go in a certain order, believe it was reverse of order u get them in

last

take Peace Crystal and bring it to Jean

Thank you DSPIN I will use it if it gets too hard, but with the help of an anagram solver and a bit of logic I managed to solve the password and I am in the bedroom Naughty aren't I lol

I'm finished and out, thank you DSPIN for all your help, I could never of solved the dowel problem without you, and your other hints helped with all the rest.

must be in wrong spot - don't see anyone there to chat with, Russell.
can't call on phone? No service? hmm..
What is below the bananas at the store? sugarcane?

have cellphone - checked messages, map, shovel, 4 coins, used lemon, used tweezers, menu, narrow paper
