I have $800 in my inventory, but i cannot buy the hacking device. Any idea why?

I think this game is a little buggy. The park is not yet green (accessible) when you first leave the store, but you can go there and proceed with the actions you are supposed to perform. If you do this before going to the only green spot (the bank) you will lose the money you later find.

I got a blue cube in the virtual world and I don't know what to do?

For the one who can't win this here is a walkthrough (:

okey now I get it about spoilers ^^
so here's the walkthru:

1. Kla
Kla the Hacker will enter the store.
Bob will put a present on the counter.
Take it and then go over to the fur scanner button.
You have to press the button but nothing will happen.
Go back to Bob und ask him why the fur scanner won't work.
He will help you with it.
Then you go back to the fur scanner button and press it again.
After the cut sequence you'll have to grab the batteries (middle shelf on the third set of shelves) and the neon wires (bottom shelf on the first set of shelves).
Kla won't find the wires.
Click the inventory and open the present by click it.
Click on the goggles and then on Kla to wear them.
Click the goggles button by the inventory to turn them on.
Kla will meet his new friend E-dude.
Click on E-dude and beg him to find item.
He will found the wires for you.
Grab the wires and Kla will go out to fins his wallet.

2. Steve
Click on inventory and open Klas wallet.
You'll get 7cents and a credit card.
Go to the shelf and grab the taser and the btc map.
You'll actually need the hacking device but you can't afford it right now.
Walk over to Bob and give him the taser and the map to pay for them.
Then you go out of the store und click on the far right side of the screen.
Go to the only highlited place on the map (except for the store). The bank.
Then you simply walk into the bank.

3. Kla
Click on the far left side of the screen, and you should go behind a cliff und get an eye. You'll find a red cube.
Then take the blue cube which is upon the cliff. (If you didn't get any red cube then you didn't click to left enough)
Click on the virtual three and Kla will get an idea.
Talk to E-dude and he will blase the three.
Grab the green cube und cliff on the cliff above you.
Then you jump down onto the three und click on the right side of the screen to continue.

4. Steve
Click the rights side of the screen to go the map.
Then you click on the new highlited area, the park.
Talk to the old man Jebediah, try both plan A und B then go to the locker.
Click on it.
Look at the cicuit panel, you'll need a screwdriver.
Go back to the store and talk to Bob.
Tell him that you will order some nuclear device.
Then quick hurry to the toolbox and open it.
Go back to Bob again and order in some new nuclear device.
Then quick hurry to the screwdriver and pick it up.
Leave the store and go back to the park.
Go to the circuit panel and open it.
Use the taser on the panel.
Then go talk to Jebediah and use plan C.
Then go to the panel and put the taser on the panel again.
Leave the park und go to the bank.
Click on the old man to talk with him.
Go back into the store und pick up the hacking device.
Pay for it und click on the circuit panel upstairs and use the hacking device.
Go in to the room.

5. Kla
Put the threads in the order Red, Grean, Blue.
It's all about how the christmas three is changing colour.

6. Steve
Pick up the wires, the batteries and the neon lights.
Use the batteries on the wires and the use the wired batteries on the neon lights.

7. Kla
Watch the cutscene, and a menu will pop up. Click the ''Get out of here'' button.

Then you win hooray

Good Heavens - what did I do with the map for second guy? Not in inventory! Restart I guess.

Finished - cute. A bit of a struggle here and there but not bad.

For some reason no matter what order I put the red, green, and blue threads, I always get the "nope, didnt work" text from Kla. I have tried reloading the game, but there must be something else Im missing or this game hates me because the RGB doesnt work

EDIT: nm

You have to use them in R-G-B order, but make sure you place the cubes only when the tree is that color. i.e Place the red when the tree is red, then the green when it turns green, and finally the blue when it turns blue.

NVM I thought I had to get the red cube before the first scene where I froze before I could go on but I didn't have to start over after all b/c I came back to the virtual world later

Use the A.R. Goggles in the gift box. An eye should appear. Use it to find the wires.
