I've got a key that i can't use and a safe with a code i don't know! any ideas?

I was stuck where you are. To open the safe, you need all three notes and seven artifacts. Once you have the safe open, you have to take what's inside with you before you can open the door.

Ok in the house now...thanx Huwaga....read the info in the 'puter and got most of the stuff including the key..... but where's the 'murder' note? have the others, buddah, quran shiva, shofar..etc

Here's a list of all 7 artifacts:

A prayer card, a crucifix, a Shiva statue, the Holy Quoran, Buddah Statue, a Jewish Shofar, and a Shinto ema

I think I can remember where they are located:

prayer card and crucifix are in the attic, shofar and the buddah statue are in the downstairs lounge room, the shiva statue is upstairs - maybe in the bedroom?, the quoran is in the tv room upstairs, and the shinto ema is the painting on the wall in the linen closet downstairs
