Oh bugger. I dial the phone number and still can't use the desk. I know my number is right cause it's the same as the one shiningstar gave in walkthrough. Oh well... might try again another day.

Problem with Phone
Did you remember to take the phone off the hook before you dial?
Mobiles may not need it, but pay phones certainly do require that you listen for a dial tone before entering the numberComment

Can't "write" Letter
Game Busted
I clicked all over the table and nothing. Just some cryptic message in another language that I can't even cut and paste to translate somewhere.
I do have the suitcase in my inventory and the second coin that was "used" to dial the phone the second time to "make" the suitcase.
Why can't I "write" this letter??
