I need help

So I got into the castle, i havent opened the basement yet, but I can't open any of the doors inside the castle either, is this a malfunction or something. The only door that does anything is the kings room which is locked otherwise the others dont do a thing. How do i get in there?

Well, should have waited until I finished up dinner, ate and tidied to start .. I've just gotten on ground

have button, ticket, bar - looked at well, rope up and down can't take or use or even talk to. Talked to Jerry and John, then John and Jerry .. no one seems to want anything but me. Seen no one on the other side of the gate.

i cant get the basement key. i talked to every one in order and i tried ti give the button the the captain but no luck. ive been going at this for like a hour.

there's something wrong with this game...when i went to the north corridor this nerdy looking guy suddenly appear then dissapeared in a flash it was kinda creepy or strange. btw i still can't find the two guys!
