Is that the 2nd key?

Normally, if you talk to someone, there would be 2 options.
1) Who do they think is the murderer.
2) What was their relationship with the King like.
If you ask them who they think is the suspect, they will accuse someone else. You must then confront the accused.
For example, Merlin accuses the Maid, a third option will appear where you accuse the maid. You have to do this for every character.

you have to make him think you have a secret clue, then you trade him the button for the key(click give then the button)

Veronica was missing from the dining hall, so I went looking for her - when I went into the king's chambers, she flashed on screen briefly but then went away

Should I have seen her there, then, to advance the game? I don't want to have to restart.

EDIT 2: Yup, apparently I should have. According to another forum, I've done everything I'm supposed to do up 'til that point. Why is it I always seem to find the bugs in games that have them?
