i have a blue amulet and i have all the stuff out of the safe but don't know what to do now.

"Blue amulet" are you talking about the Talisman that Prescott wears in the neck. If yes then
Place the matchstick on the top empty shelf above the fire icon
Place the ice on the top empty shelf above the eye icon.
Prescott will get one wing of the Demon.
Then place the ruby on the top empty shelf above the circle icon.
Then wear the night vision glasses and click on the chair.
You will get the book. Place the book on the lower empty shelf of the star icon
You will get the other wing of the demon.

where do you find the talisman? I?m lost. I have the things from the safe, ice and matches..

Ok now that you have the things from the safe, ice and the match sticks.
So go back to Prescott.
They will have a little talk.
Now walk further (not towards the screen)
You will see a face on the door like the one you have in your inventory.
NOTE:If you haven't removed the ruby from the face in your inventory then click on the face and then click on the ruby.
Then drag the face to the face on the door.
The door will open.
You will see a red arrow in the middle of the door somewhere.
Click on it to go inside.
Prescott will go alone.

Matchbox

The game starts in the luggage compartment. Click on the small green handbag which is in front of Prescott and Ophelia. Ophelia get a psychic vision and she will tell Prescott that the bag belongs to the member of the Elder star. Click on the bag again and get the matchbox.

train fight

i thought i did everything right...why does prescott get dead after getting both wings?

Click on Prescott so that he will duck when the Henchman attacks him.
Ophelia has to create a path so that the lever can reach the center. Ofcourse you will have to help her do that. At the same time you have to click Prescott so that the he will duck and the henchman will not attack him.
