Also, went back to the three pots on the floor and there is a note in the first one...

And doesn't it seem like we should be able to get that candle on the top of the shelf. Maybe light the other candles with it?

You can put one ball in the jar with the paper in it, but no idea on which number to put there or why

Put Nr. 5 in the left, 2 in the middle and 10 in the right - you always can see, if your right, you here a noise.

after you put the balls in the jars, get the key that falls down.
Use it to unlock the box in front of the water.
take the torch.
Light the torch on the candle above the shelves.

Yea I have done all that, but still stuck.. i have tried everything i can think of downstairs, but nothing seems to work... let me know if you get farther

edit:

downstairs where the water is running out of the wall, turn to the opposite wall and use the handle in the inventory towards the lower left corner... then you will be able to go in a room with a rocket, but dont have a clue about code on there.. let me know if anyone gets any further then that

EDIT AGAIN:::

... go up to book case and look in the purple book i believe... there is a code in roman numerals.. use that

unfortunatly after doing this, the game locked up on me. Seems to be a bug
