So far language does seem to be a barrier. I fought one guy then the next one asks for 4 digit pass. Clicking below the place for password opens a japanese site. I used babelfish on it but not sure what to look for.

Perhaps I skiped the Intro to fast and there were some readable signs hidden? And when, I could them surely not remember and I don't know, what the men want to know.
I wait still there is a german or french or english or ..... version.

Thanks Purp. After that it's pretty easy. I completed the game

The password isn't bad, it means deep cooking tea, another word for green tea.
I found the hint for the code number: just before the game begins, there are on a blue screen turn around nubers from years, backwards counted. These finished with 1870.
But, my browser won't copy the asian signs to fill in password box!
Did a trick: googled the signs and copied the link, that works. You can translate your search results by google, than you get the english words; I retranslated from german.
