And I cannot figure out my numbers. Took screenshot and turned this (why should I move my head, lol). The red and pink are 9. Are you sure, they change?

OH! I had to use the link that the poster used! It doesn't work on Gamershood. Okay I can't get the spider! It says:

Ugh, I think something is supposed to happen at the red X, but nothing ever does.

Here's a partial map of the basement. It doesn't have most of the dead-ends, but it does give you the shortest path to the red X.

i arrived at the x, stood on it, hit space bar. Battled a rodent thing for his treasure which i got. Still can't cook with it.

I had to reach level 18 to survive the level 30+ spiders and have plenty of delicious raw spidey meat on hand.

Funny, I seemingly can't get spider meat anymore. I ruined what I did have even after getting the other ingredient.

I got a steak cooked.

I turned the flame on, then put the pan on, then put the steak in and then put the sauce on it, then turned it off.

EDIT: And I'm done. #201, from the looks of it.

tried your steps nin, still inedible and had to throw away(turn off fire quickly) or it seems to disappear(leave fire on longer). Must be a timing issue. Oh well back to the basement to hunt more grub.

Oh, on the "X" I have level 10 and should fight against a spider Lv. 40. Died. And again, sigh.

In basement - can't leave .. when I die .. will I be back upstairs or have to start again? and what is strg someone mentioned?
Think I'll try something else for awhile and come back later ..maybe read directions next time as it took for every to figure out how to look at things ..
