OMG, I am already stuck on 8. Maybe this is not my kind of game.
I understand that I have to

take away five letters, but I miss the hint that tells which ones.

I don't have to find out by trial and error, right?

You need to access level 15 from the main menu, and check the letters with slightly different colors than the others. These letters have to be removed then.

LOL, 22 is VERY tricky

Go to the main menu by clicking the house in the right upper corner twice. Anagram your previous solution, and then take away some letters in that main menu (a 4 letter word and a 2 letter word as shown on the level).

yeah, I like them to be tricky--makes my brain work, that's why I don't like to ask for help...but sometimes I have been thinking and thinking and thinking and I just need that little bit of help and the gears kick in. On 17 now, ...thinking. I'll help with the last if I get there anytime soon!

I really don't see any d*******c**. I even changed the background to make it possibly more visible, but nothing!

Adventure, this applies for level 16

go to the level select menu, and select level 15 from there.
Then look at "Turn the lights on", 3 letters are gray and not white

ok, now I'm having trouble with 17. I like the challenge...but then I get impatient! I've tried

taking out the odd numbered word, leaving that word, taking out the yellow y...and much more...

hint?
