Are you saying that S****** (sung by C********** C****) is a bad song or the clue after it with an apostrophe in it is?
The one that links b**** and C********** C**** and R***** ** *** N**** is the name of the band that sings that song.

(in clue form, not direct answers)

21 - "**** *****" - an older p*****, often seen on the Ed Sullivan show

2 - "*****" - a type of food from I**** (though the American version is much different, so I hear)
2 - "*** ******" - the original inhabitants of I**** (civilization founded by two brothers?)

12 - "******" - the most luminous objects in T** U*******? (singular form in the puzzle)

8 - "**** ****'*" - an Italian r********* c****, a guy's name
8 - "**** ******" - green, grows, sometimes eaten on pizza
8 - "********" - like the last one, only orange-red in color and much MUCH hotter

18 - "*******" - a type of w*********, the exact definition has changed over the years - the older USS-Essex were of this class of ship (circa 1800)

4 - "*** *****" - not the daddy
4 - "**** ****" - ok you've already got the center word and the word on the right, "F** W***" - just google her and you'll have this in no time (her most famous movie)

9 - "*********" - rhymes with the center word, one letter off, from another country

19 - "****** ** *** *****" - song from the group it links to in pane 18, shares a word with the linking clue in this pane
19 - "***** *** *********" - google the sport and the word in pane 24 that you have connecting these two... it's a team name

5 - "******" - synonym to truncheon

10 - "*** *******" - though there are more obvious clues I could give, I'm going to go with "the Young Ones did a song about these "d******", in the episode called Oil - it's the only thing that unites us!"
10 - "***********" - such a long word to be abbreviated to such a simple "Rx"

15 - "********" - fancy gymnasts
15 - "***** *********" - guess he needs more metal in his diet?
