Meta-Word Link 2

Okay, I've been doing much (but certainly not all!) of this alone, but I'm pretty much at a stuck point. I only need to open panels 1, 21, 22, 23, 24.

I only have the link word

candy bars

on panel 16. So that's not really opened up.

On panel 6 I only have the link word

Pittsburgh

open, so THAT one isn't really opened up either.

On panel 5, I only have the link word

Fire.

Stuck there, too.

On panel 10, I only have the link words

Christmas

and

Ice Cube

So, THAT isn't really opened up.

On 15, I have

Mr. Ed

and

Horses

, but am stuck there, too!

And then there are the panels I haven't opened yet I've kinda peeked around this thread since I've been stuck, but haven't found loads of help in those areas. Help?

I have the 4 yellow words, and they really couldn't be less related I am clueless.

Does anybody know - if the "Meta-puzzle is unlocked", do we just venture guesses in the same guess-box ? Does the whole puzzle have to be filled in to guess this Meta Word ?
