I edited my above post with the solution. I just hope it makes sense.

i cant get past 23! the energy balls don't last long enough to figure anything out. its a tough game. and the real version is in first person which should be even tougher. BTW have you seen Gman? he's on the level with the blue walls. hes walking in a window really slow. and carrying a suitcase. Hes from a Valve game called half-life. and if you look at certain places, youll see him, very creepy.

No, I didn't see Gman. I have to go back and look. 35 is an energy ball with 5 walls and 5 switches. You have to warp perfectly to each switch for it to last long enough to get it where it needs to go. Easy to see what to do, but very hard to executre.

Exicutre?
sounds hard... and considering that i only got to 23, i probobly would take an hour on that level. im interested to see what happens at the end, if anything interesting...
i have a feeling portal has a connection to half-life, and if you've ever played half-life, you'll be interested.

I'll take a look at it.
If I remember correctly:
put a portal on the floor and the back wall (in that order). Hop from the ledge into the hole and you will fly across the room to the ledge next to the electrified floor. Put a portal below you and you will be on the ledge again on the left side of the room. Put a portal on the ground below the ledge and jump into it (timing is crucial to avoid being fried). Quickly run to the right as quickly as possible and you're out.

this is the strategy i used,
you need to stay on the ledge and try to put your first portal right in front of the glass window, then back up and do a running jump and while your in the air try to place your second portal right in front of the electric thingy, then land in your first portal and the momentum should cause you to go high enough to get on the electric flooring, but youll need to time it right so as not to get shocked

@yorick,
It's funny you mention half-life as valve just released the orange box a few days ago... and portal was included (the actual 3d version)... i wonder if this was created by portal employee or someone who just had a connection to portal
EDIT: having just loaded the game for the first time... apparently it was created by a fan...
EDIT2: Welp I finished it. Once I understood the gravity/speed concept, it wasn't too hard. There are at least three levels where you can aim a portal against a wall that you shouldn't be able to reach... this makes some levels MUCH easier! I'd have to say that 37 was by far the hardest... too many chances to screw up! Anyways, fun game! Congrats to the creators for making such a good game!- Double G
