are we suppose to write answers under picture in French or English?

I think you're supposed to write the answers in french... it doesn't seem to work in english.

Also, I really don't get the reason for the on-screen keyboard. It takes much longer to click on every letter than it would just typing the answers.

I'm sorry to say this, but this is one of the worst games ever.
(Won't even go into the strange flash design, in which each question or menu item takes you to a new page with a different flash file.)

I tried first picture in english and french and it didn't work (although I tried Statue of Liberty and Statue de la Liberte, also New York). Maybe I simply didn't find the right answer. I don't want to critisize this game so I won't. I just wish there was some explanation, more specific instruction.

Thank you for your modifications. I , too, am having trouble getting past the first puzzle, though. The answer seems obvious... Nothing is working though.

I've tried Liberty Enlightening the World (French: La liberté éclairant le monde), Statue of Liberty (Statue de la Liberté), Ellis Island, Liberty Island, gift... nothing works

oh my heck now i feel stupid, especially since i kept trying the designers name! but now i'm stuck on two so i didn't get far.
