If you are ussing WinXP go to the conrol panel and select accessibility options. Check under the keyboard tab and make sure that the box next to filter keys isn't checked.

Sorted level 15. When I played it last night, it behaved differently to the way it does today, and the extra stuff it does today made it possible.
