no nin, it's not that logic. You can

receive mail on sunday if the mail is brought by courier, besides it was written that she was getting mail - excuse me if I'm wrong but I think "getting" and "receiving" mail has different meanings. Maybe she forgot to "get" mail from mailbox on friday or sutarday?
