whew!
I finally passed awash....that took me forever!
I was trying to hard to make it boxy (like a big tank). I had the rollers on top and wheels on the bottom, but I finally made it look more like a racecar. I still had rollers on top (going backward) and rollers on the bottom (going forward), but I finally put fewer rollers on the bottom (maybe 4) and spaced them out a little more. The key for me as well was to put one roller going backward in front of the roller going forward on the bottom, so the barrels would keep rolling over the contraption. Since there was only one roller going backward on the bottom, it didn't keep the contraption from continuing to go forward. Hope this helps.
I never took physics in high school or college, so all I have to say is "whew!" Hope they don't get harder than that one!

the big bal: brute force.
make a car in the air with the front down to the right. Make sure the front is pointy so that you can lift the ball a bit.
Next make as much forward power as possible in order to push your way under the ball
Took me ages this way, but i don't think there is a much faster way

Make a surface so that they can roll towards the goal.
This surface has an upwards slope so you nee some contraption(s) to push the balls up
I'm stuck at down-under
Haven't got a clue how to swing around towards the goal.Last edited by Mistery; 07-19-2008, 10:03:47. Reason: Please edit your post instead of multiple posting

I just did.
I made an incline where the pink ball rolled down the incline. I had a chain made from the water rods (because they were more "flexible") that was hooked to the bottom of my incline. The pink ball rolled down, swung over the side on the right, and then it came back around to the left and hit the target. I had trouble getting everything just right--I would be almost in the target, add a chain or move the pink ball slightly, and everything would be all off. It took a while, but I finally got it. People had a lot of interesting designs that I saw later--pendulums, catapults, etc.The second page of contraptions are definitely harder, but they are fun to figure out! Good luck!

Four balls solution
This is a great game.
I'm particularly proud of my solution for 'four balls'...
You can have a look at it via link below;

I'm still working on a few of the others...
