Have you finished the riddle yet, hun?
I have quite some levels I haven't managed to even see. I'm now left with levels 15 and 64 that I can't solve.

No, I still have many rooms to find. But so far I couldn't solved 43 and 78 directly. Haven't broke my head on it yet, but I am sure I will need help with them later.

Brb... gonna delete cookies(cept the ones for this riddle, ) and restart my comp to see if that fixes my problems...

Level 15

I finally got how to solve level 15. It's rather simple with the right perspective.

If we divide the cylinder in 4 parts, each of the part will have only a little string. Imagining that little cylinder part was just a sheet of paper folded into that shape, we can unfold it, and we get a string that goes from one corner of the paper to the other corner, forming a triangle.
Using the Pythagorean theorem [a² + b² = c²] you can determine the length of the string in the first small cylinder part. (note that the length of the cylinder is now 4 times smaller. )
That length is repeated in the next 3 cylinders, so all we have to do is to multiply the length we got for 4 - and that's it.

i'm still having a little problem getting the answer to 15, I'm applying the clue but my answer doesn't work

Me neither. I am sure I am making some kind of silly mistake, but I just don't see what. Well, I am too tired for math anyways. I will take another look after some sleep.

hint on 31 for those who didn't know

there are 2 different answers

15 can actually be solved using trigonometry. Try picturing cutting the tube and laying it out flat. You will get four identical triangles. Solve for the hypotenuse of the triangle, multiply by four, and you'll have your answer.

For 64 make sure to note it doesn't specify whole numbers. I actually used the high/low method to narrow down the possibilities on that one. Then it was just a matter of plugging in a couple of possibilities and finding the one that worked.

Sorry if these hints seem vague. Its not intentional. I just have a hard time giving hints on math problems.

Yep, it was the combination of my cookies and my low RAM (haven't reset my comp for 2 weeks, lol, )
It started not letting me click anything that made new windows pop up (like my messages) and drop down menus, or right click, or anything else that covers the initial screen, lol.

That means if you will be gracious enough to help me, you can only do it on level 59, which all of the others must branch off of

Remember that one of the levels needed to be decoded. Maybe the answer needs to be encoded to get where you need to go

@Justeasy You should download Simple off of the site that hosts the riddle. Its actually a fairly easy program to write for if you get the hang of it and it makes solving levels like 59 much easier. The program is free too.
