totally stuck......i found a lot of pics and something that suggests me to make a sort of matrix...but i can't see anything into that pics apart a beautiful white square....

stuck on 27. I am not getting anywhere with the clue in the source. Have tried all kinds of conversions, but nothing makes any sense so far. I guess I need to apply rather than convert, but cannot think of anything to apply it to.
