Okay a less cryptic clue

there are 8 letters, 1 on main 3 on blood and 2 on the rest, also the answer is a synonym of hating

actually there are only 7 letters.
the I is not there. I had to cheat to work out the answer.
stuck on level 8 and going nowhere.
i assume everyone else cheated on level 5? at least I admit it.

I played the level 5 days straight. Never once did I see a capital I.
l (lower case L) perhaps. I never.

I got past that awful 1st clue on level 8 to the numbers, they make no sense.
Thought they might be a caesar box once letters to numbers was done.
But no.
