ive tried all the means of transport i could think of. is it a riddle in the question? or is it actually transportation (ie, boat,plane)thanks

You should read the text carefully, there might be something very "tricky" (or you might call it "sticky")

and that:

i cant get past the romans question, i dont see any times or dates in those letters.
the hints i've had haven't really helped me.
