                  any of you know if "y" is considered a vocal in english???
                  my motherlanguage is portuguese and i only speak english in my english classes....and here...of course....so

                              no.......in portuguese there are consonants (b,c,d,f,g,h,j,k,l,m....) and vocals (a,e,i,o,u)....what i want to know is that 'y' is considered a vocal in english...
