i won't give you the answer (not my stile), but...

the mistake I was doing was that I thought every time the thread goes up is ONE, regardless of how many threads of the other color it passes (well it doeas matter how many...)

it does have something to do with the title (a lot actually) - sparkplug said it was originally called TOP stitch - maybe that helps

try to find a code in it

got it now

i was looking thru the forums and i managed to get past it now.

i'm on D3, but have no idea what the zadith and nadir (or something like that...) means.

I went onto the site, but it was in Japanese, and had stuff on, which i couldn't understand, even when i translated the page!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i know the answer's staring me in the face, but i can't see it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

zenith and nadir are from astronomical things but basically ZENITH means streight forward or right up and NADIR is the opposite, antipole of that (so they are like pro and contra, jing and jang, ...) - also took me some time to google it - the japanese site is some clothing line

i'm not doing the puzzle at the moment though - keeps me too much away from the work I SHOULD be doing, so I'll keep it for the evenning
